Meet Dr. Tyler Phaneuf

Dr. Tyler Phaneuf is a Board-Certified specialist in Endodontics. He grew up in Maymont, a small farming community in west central Saskatchewan. Dr. Phaneuf obtained a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and Cell Biology from the University of Saskatchewan in 2010, and his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Saskatchewan, College of Dentistry in 2014. He practiced as a general dentist in Regina for three years before being accepted into a 3-year post-graduate residency program at the University of Toronto, where he earned a Master of Science in Endodontics in 2020.

Dr. Phaneuf has been teaching as a clinical instructor and course coordinator in Endodontics at the College of Dentistry, University of Saskatchewan since 2020. He has worked in Endodontics in private practices in both Regina and Saskatoon, before assuming ownership of First Avenue Endodontics in October 2025. Dr. Phaneuf's current professional memberships include the American Academy of Endodontists, Canadian Academy of Endodontists, Canadian Dental Association, and the College of Dental Surgeons of Saskatchewan.

Dr. Phaneuf and wife live in Saskatoon with their two young children and their dog Echo. They enjoy camping, fishing, playing sports with their two boys, and spending time with family and friends.
